Lenovo Tab M10 Can't factory reset

I have a Lenovo tab m10 with Google parental control. Child changed and forgot pattern code. I tried resetting it from family link but that didn't work. Next I tried to wipe device from family link and all that did was disconnect the device from family link. Next I tried to enter factory reset menu from device itself by powering off and holding down the volume up/down buttons while powering on. Instead of the regular android menu to factory reset and all that all I get is big letters that say FFMB.

Help not sure what to do next.
