it won't charge the battery...

My CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD didn't know how old the battery was. I input the age and now it won't charge the battery...

@razvanburghiu sounds like the UPS software has turned the charging off because off the age off the battery. How old is the battery and where and how did you enter the age? Did it charge that battery before you did that? I would suggest that you actually check the battery under a load and make sure it is still chargeable. If not then you most likely need to go ahead and replace it.

Just added it in the PowerPanel Business interface.

It was not having issues before.

It's working now, it just spontaneously started charging again, so, freaking random. I have another model that is doing the same thing, but that one is a simulated sine wave model, and while the battery works, it's doing the same thing, not charging even after power is back.

@razvanburghiu I wonder if this is a software issue (dodgy software) or a manufacturer's intent to ensure that you have a good battery. I wonder if they "force" you to use batteries that are of certain age.
