Why is hp probook 640 G1 blinking
My laptop is blinking every 1 or 2 Second and screen turn into black and stop working then again normal can i fix it

Good morning, I am a Windows System administrator and problems similar to this happen fairly commonly in my experience.
Please try the following.
Press the "Windows Key" + "R" at the same time, once the run pop up appears, type "explorer.exe" does anything change?
Alternatively, press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "Esc" to start task manager, find "windows explorer" under tasks and restart it, If you do not see "Windows explorer" click on "Run new task" and type in "Windows explorer"
Its not impossible for this to be a display driver issue as well but we can explore further into that if the above does not change anything.

Yes I thought it might be a software issue so I didn’t reply .

Try removing the RAM, gently cleaning the area, and then reinserting it.

Hi, what is blinking exactly the screen or a light near the keyboard. A short video of the issue or a picture would be useful to help diagnose it.

Screen is blinking for 1,2 seconds and become totally black but curser es moving in black screen
