Likely a damaged potentiometer or circuit board. After opening the body, check that all the wires are snugly attached and that none have come loose. Check the circuit board and look for a burnt or leaking component, especially capacitors. The potentiometer may have died -you can get replacements from eBay nd Amazon for $20.00 - $25.00.

Check the outlet for power. Is a breaker thrown? Did a GFCI trip? If outlet power is OK, you’ll hve to disassemble the blender and check for a bad switch, etc. If it is still under warranty, don’t disassemble - call the manufacturer and make a warranty claim.
