How to repair the hard drive of my probook 430 G5 PC?
My PC's hard drive is damaged and I wanted to know how to repair it and recover its data.

@shadowsp that will entirely depend on the damage itself. If it is mechanical, then you will have to open up you HDD and determine which part is broken. To work on a HDD you should always use a "clean room" it is not a repair that you can do at the kitchen table etc. Just a little bit of dust on the platter inside the drive can ruin it. Mechanical errors usually make a clicking or other mechanical noises
If it is a controller board issue then you can replace the board with an identical board. You will have to exchange the BIOS IC from your original controller board to the new one. This would be something to consider when your drive just isn't recognized anymore by the computer (in the computer BIOS) Something similar to this repair
If this data is very important to you, I suggest that you contact one of the many data recovery services. I would not mess with this myself if it is really important data. Recovery services are expensive but it's better than destroying your data through DIY repair. You are the judge of what is important to you.
