Why won't my power supply plug in to the console?

The configuration of the socket and power supply plug aren't the same. Did my seller on E-Bay give me the wrong power supplu with this unit? The socket in the 360 Pro console has a plastic peg or pin in the middle and the power supply plug that's supposed to plug into it dosen't have a hole for the pin to go into. Are there different power supplys for different models of X Box 360? This one is a white 360 Pro with a 120 GB hard drive. Not just the basic unit. LeeB

Thank you sooooo very much for your info and for the guide to the microsoft web site. Bought the unit on line and the seller sent me the wrong power unit with the console. Once again thank you very much! It's good to know there's knowledgeable people out there that us dummys can lean on. LeeB

LeeB, thank you for accepting my answer. It is not being a dummy, there are just so many different options and pieces of equipment out there, makes it hard to keep things straight. It is the smart person that ask the question :-)
