Why is it that I can't find any battery screw for this laptop. I have 40 of them and I refurbished them all but 20 of them came with no battery. The person taking the batteries out was not smart enough to leave the screws in. Can anyone tell me how I can find those screws, please. Thank you very much and hopefully not for some crazy amount of money. They are just screws!!!

Here’s one source for the battery screw Unibody MacBook Pro 13" Battery Tri-lobe Screw Set and here’s the 15” Unibody Macbook Pro 15" tri-lobe battery screw they are located in the UK. Having a friend in the UK helps as these parts won’t be snagged by customs if not in bulk within mail

Just do a google search for "Macbook pro A1278 battery screws" there are many results here in PH, but some prices are nuts!

@livfe Looks like a bag of a 100 pieces would cost me 230$ which in my books is crazy at best. I think a hundred screws need to sell at 10$. They certainly do not cost 1.15$ to make one. Typical apple.

@zarragossa I totally agree, Out here can get a set of 2 for $2 or so.... Best solution maybe just use 1 screw per unit, it will hold it tight enough.... that's what I did anyway.
