my ps3 hdmi is not working no signal. i've tried resetting settings with the 2 beep sequence and just get blank screen. even done it manually and it resets back to av settings after 30 seconds. tv hdmi port and hdmi cable working fine it just will not for me please help its driving me crazy thanx

Can you connect back to the original TV you were using, or a higher resolution HDTV? I had this problem as well a while back, and I found I had to do multiple system resets and power on/off etc. Really a pain in the arse.
If it is the older model, try "oldtukey03"'s suggestion with using the composite cable temporarily; since this is an analog output it should work regardless. HDMI is digital output that requires Link Protection Protocol on both ends of communication.

do you get any video output from the composite cable that came bundled with the PS3? Have you had the PS3 working on this TV via HDMI before?
