@johnmathio19072 the air filter is in the air filter box to the front right hand side of the engine compartment. Check on here for an idea.
Now, you said the air filter. If you mean the compartment particle filter (cabin Air filter) for your AC, that is on the inside of your SKoda. It'll be behind the glove box. you will have to remove the glove box to get to it. Please remember, not every vehicle has that type of filter.

@johnmathio19072 Looks like the MK1 is also known as the 1U. Check this video and see if that is the same layout as yours.
