How to repair usb ports

@sachinrawat we will need to know what OS you are using. If it is Window of some sort you need to check your device manager. Check under Universal Serial Bus Controller, if everything does still show properly (check for exclamation points). I would even consider removing the old USB drivers and then reinstalling new USB device drivers.

Also, check your BIOS to make sure that your USB ports are disabled. You can follow some great instructions to reset your USB port drivers on here, since you will need to repeat the uninstall for each USB Root Hub device.

For now, this sounds strictly like an OS issue. It would be uncommon to have a USB controller IC fail. Now, if you do find that even after reinstalling the device drivers and ensuring that your BIOS is properly set up and your USB port still do not function, then we may have to look at the internals of your computer. This model seems to have a separate USB board (HP part number 927925-001) which connects via a flex cable to the motherboard. You may have to take a look at that.
