Can I trick my MacBook into thinking it has No battery connected?

I have mbp mid 2012 and its battery is making many issues, sometimes (on heavy load) the Machines goes off (on Adapter) and tries to charge the battery for some time! and then it will rework again! I 'd like to trick the machine to make it think that there is no battery connected to it without the need to go to a fix shop to disconnect the battery physically,

Do you know any way to achieve this?

@truthglow "make it think that there is no battery connected" not a good idea since that may cause the CPU to be throttled as well as the fans to ramp up. How about replacing the battery or consider checking the logic board for why it does not charge etc. This "tries to charge the battery for some time" could very well be an issue with the current sensing of the charge IC.

Your system can’t sustain its self without the battery as the charger does not offer enough power alone when pressed hard. So you will want to get a new battery soon!

The systems SMC logic monitors both thermals and other sensors to make sure all is well. When a sensor data it was expecting is not present or correct the SMC will alert you (diagnostics) and often put its self into a state that prevents damage. Lowering the CPU’s clocking and ramp up the fans so the system doesn’t overheat. Removing the battery will push the system into this state (CPU Safe Mode).

I used before a laptop even without a battery and it was working with its full power and there was no turning off at all, the only caution there was that I needed to take care of the power to stay always on which was the case, but for this MBP as soon as I run compiling some code few times MBP goes to the state were it is forcing a charging mode on the battery for a few minutes which I don't like especially that the MBP is connected to the 85W power adapter, Are you saying There is No way to disconnect it by maybe some bios app/mod/software or so?

@truthglow - Sorry guy, that wasn’t an Apple system! The hardware was not designed to run without a battery. Sure booting up and doing some light work will work with a tired battery, as soon as you pull it SMC’s battery sensors gets pulled putting the system into CPU safe mode.
