Headset works, but audio is not coming through.

So a short while ago I decided to go onto my VR, as one does. Everything booted up properly but there was absolutely no audio. After testing on multiple systems and OS's, there is no audio. but everything else works perfectly fine.

I have contacted steam support and they have not been able to help me with what I can only assume is an edge case situation. If there's anything to provide light on the subject matter, or a solution, I obviously would greatly appreciate it.

I have tried cracking it open, but after getting lost, I reassembled it and came here.
