How do I install a HDD SSD Connector on my Lenovo IdeaPad 130-14IKB?

In context 6 months ago I took my laptop and put it in a cabinet then slept, next thing I know the Hard disk wasn't detected. I went to other repairshops and they said it would be expensive, but I did my own research and found parts that is compatible with the motherboard of my laptop. I would like to know how I can remove the old one and replace it with the next one without damaging the motherboard.

Do you want to replace the HDD or the HDD connector board?

Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the model series.

Go to p.36 (40 of 74 pdf) to view the procedure to remove the HDD (or SSD). Once it has been disconnected from the HDD connector board, you can disconnect the board from the motherboard.

If the board needs replacing on p.67 Item #12 you'll find the Lenovo part number for the board. Search online for 5C50R34852 to find suppliers that suit you best. (supplier examples only)
