Sharp lc-80ue30u no picture and light blinks once fast then once long
My tv once I plug it in has a light on the power indicator that blinks once fast and once long what could be the issue

@allanburns that is the blink code for a bad backlight. You will most likely have to replace the backlight strips. Sometimes you can temporarily bypass the error detection but for that we will need to see your power board and the board connectors with the legends for those.

So if I hold down the volume up channel down and power button then plug it in the tv will power on show the sharp logo then the light will start blinking once fast once long. Not sure if that helps.
@allanburns sounds like it is failing its Power On Self Test. Based on the codes the backlights seem the issue. Remember that your TV will receive the feedback power used by the strips. Even so it may only actually just be one or two LEDs it can be enough to “trip” the power down signal and to generate the error code
So I tore the tv down and sure enough there was one led bad on one section of strip. So I ordered the right strip. Just waiting for it to come in.
