Not collecting or draining water

Hi there, I have a Midea dehumidifier MC50MSKBA3RCM. When I power the device on, it turn on and fan is running, however not collecting water in bucket mode or even in bucket less mode (drain pipe attached). I have removed the air filter and cleaned and still no luck. I had it run for few hrs and I see humidify drop a 1 or 2 celsius but no water. I have turned it off to prevent over heating or damage.

Any advice on how I can troubleshoot this issue? The unit, is couple years old. Used in 1 summer and now but not working.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Options

dehumidifiers have a compressor. The compressor cools coils. Air is drawn over the coils lowering the air temp below the dew point and water condenses out. The air is then passed over the compressor coils and the compressor heat is removed.

When the unit is working, warm air is blown out.

Therefore, your compressor is not functioning, and the air coming out is the same temp as what is going in.

WHY?, likely a bad compressor, but it could be an issue with the control board not powering the compressor.

Disassembly required, and troubleshoot with your DVM.

Air blown out of the unit is more on cooler side when I hold my hand above the spinning fan. Does that mean compressor is broken?

if so, it is worthing fixing it? or getting a new unit?
