File Explorer and Disk Management does not recognize my 2 USB drives.
One always has a flash drive in it and one gets an external drive. Both have been working fine, now neither of them show.

Hi @arenard
Do other USB show as detected when they're plugged into the same USB ports on the computer?
If they also don't show, go to Device Manager → Universal Serial Bus controllers → select > to expand the list → right click on a USB Root Hub entry → Properties → Power management and see if the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" check box has been selected.
If it has been selected, uncheck it → OK
Do the above for all the USB Root Hubs shown in the list.
When complete, close all open windows and the restart the computer in the normal manner.
Once it has restarted etc, insert a USB drive and check if it is being detected OK.
To get to Device Manager in Win10/11 press the Win key + x key (both together) and select the Device Manager link in the menu box that opens.

I flip flop them and it makes no difference. I inserted a different flash drive that I haven't used for awhile and that doesn't show either. I will follow your directions and let you know.
You are wonderful. I followed your directions and both are working now.
