How to repair my separating dashboard

The top of my dashboard is separating in the middle where it comes together. Can I fix this myself without the expense the expense of a dealership? Thanks to anyone that can help.

I posted a link to a vinyl repair kit, but rereading your question, it appears you mean there's a gap where two parts of the dash come together, is that right?
