keypad turns on when I power on but screen doesnt

laptop faced some jerk and then screen got black and obe green line was in centre of scfrreen then i powered off by holding power button and then power on it , it started like usual i thanked but before it started properly a blue screen showed up saying laptop faced some problem and it is scanning and needs to restart and this display got hanged so i powered off again with button holding . and after that when i power on by pressing power button the keyboard lights up but screen dos nottt
