Phone's side fingerprint doesn't work, could be disconnected

I accidentally threw my Redmi 9T and now the fingerprint sensor suddenly doesn't work, I'm assuming it got disconnected, I just want a tutorial on how to open up the phone and connect it back or diagnose the problem without actually breaking the phone
