How do I reverse the direction of the lock tongue?
What I mean by tongue here is the part that goes in and out when the door is opened or closed.

- Use the appropriate tools: a regular or electric screwdriver, and sometimes a wedge to stabilize the door while you work. Unscrew the side screws: Using a screwdriver, loosen the screws that secure the lock to the door.
- Remove the lock: Gently pull the lock out until the lock tab is exposed.
- Turn or replace the tab: Some locks allow you to turn the tab directly without completely disassembling it.
- When removing the lock, insert the screwdriver and the hole, press until the tab pops out, and then rotate the screwdriver as shown in the picture.
