Talking kid battery lid broken
The lid of the battery box on my talking kid is broken sgd works well still speaking and mouth moving where can I get a battery box lid

Hello Wendy,
Depending on where you are in the world you might want to look at various second hand websites for spare parts. Here in Europe I have had good luck with sites like Vinted and Ebay, but there's other ones as well.
I did a quick search on Ebay from the USA and was able to find a few replacement battery covers for Cabbage Patch Dolls.
The entry I found on Ebay, for example, was titled: BATTERY DOOR COVER FOR 2016 CABBAGE PATCH KIDS Baby So Real LED Eyes Interactive
Another option of course is to fix your battery lid.
If you want to explore this option can you describe how it is broken? Is it cracked? Or has one of the hinges snapped? Or something else?
If you still have all the parts that make up the lid it might be an easy repair.

I am in Australia and I did find the 2016 add you mention but the shape is entirely wrong . My cpk doll is 1987. I found one site that said he had 6 but his website says gone out of business moved on.. we are going to watch for someone who has the same doll that longer works and perhaps buy it for parts.. thank you so much for your helpful advice.

I see, might be hard to find the right model panel I understand. What about the original broken panel? Any hope to repair that?
