@thecat847 just like any of the yellowed (from excessive UV light over the years) older computer case. You can restore them to a decent white. You will need to disassemble your Sony Dream Machine and separate the plastic parts. Then clean those thoroughly with some soap and water. Now apply a UV-reactive peroxide cream or gel, such as a cream with 12% hydrogen peroxide or a commercial "Retro-Brite" product. Wrap the parts in cling film and place them in direct sunlight or under a UV light for several hours. Make sure the cream stays on and that you rotate the parts so they all get evenly bright. Finally, wash off the cream with water and dry the case completely. Take a look at something like this video for the same idea.

I heard that yellowed plastic can be whitened by rubbing it with a paste of baking soda and water or using mild abrasive toothpaste but I never tried it so I don’t know if that works. The last time I had something like that happen I just took it apart a used white spray paint. You might be able to just put some tape over the non white parts and paint it like that but the result will be less clean.
