Camera and Flash Not Working After Water Damage on Samsung A03s (A037

The Samsung A03s (A037F) was exposed to water, and since then, both the cameras and the flashlight have stopped working. When launching the camera app, the screen turns black for a few seconds as if the camera is about to start, then the app closes automatically. Similarly, when trying to activate the flashlight, a message appears saying “The light is being used by another application.”

All resistances have been checked and found to be normal, and all camera modules have been removed during testing.

The schematic isn't that helpful as far as the cameras are concerned as it shows only a small part of the circuit for the camera.

Go to p.11 & p.12 to see where the cameras connects to the PMIC.

On p.12 it shows where they go to the cameras e.g. vcama_pmu {24}, vcamo_pmu {24}, vcamio_pmu {24}, etc but {24} (assume is p.24) is not in the manual.

Even the troubleshooting flowcharts don't list troubleshooting the cameras.

@ahmad13249 I am sure you have already tried to start your phone in safe mode and see if the camera works in that mode. If so, you know it is an App issue. If that does not work either, you may have issues with a bad flex cable or some board damage after the water exposure. You did not tell us if you cleaned your board after that etc. I would start with some new flex cables as well as a new camera module to see if that makes a difference.

The problem is definitely hardware-related. The cameras and flashlight have been tested and confirmed working, the board has been thoroughly cleaned, and the issue persists even in Safe Mode

@ahmad13249 you will need to get the schematic to trace the circuit. Do you have access to a thermal camera or similar to evaluate the main board?
