10 Bathroom Faucet Replacement Holes
I have a bathroom faucet that needs to be replaced. It has 2 holes. I was told I need a replacement with a 4" center piece. Can I convert a 3-hole faucet with a 4" center piece to install? And if I can, how do I do that?
I looked under the sink and there is 2 holes on each side of the center piece that has running water. In the middle there is another hole that has a place for the drain plug.

Looks like the original faucet already has three holes.
Two for the water supplies, hot and cold (outer holes with pipes going through) and a smaller one to hold the faucet in place (centre fixing hole?)

@sheila54235 what does the replacement faucet look like? What you have is a common setup and yes, you can use a 3 hole 4" faucet without any modification (your sink is setup for that). The only thing that might need some extra attention maybe the drain stop.
