4 Where the heck did this clip come from?
I have a Bosch SHE89PW55N dish washer. I am replacing the front stainless steel panel because it was tired, had paint drips on it, etc. As part of that process, I removed the control panel. It may not have been necessary but the front stainless panel didn't seem to want to come off with the control panel in place. As I was doing that, this clip fell out. I have no idea where it came from.
I have scoured all parts diagrams I can find and come up empty. I have inspected the control panel trying to find a logical place for it, also no luck. I could not find anything like it on the control panel, inside the door, or on the stainless steel panel.
Does anyone know where this goes?

It looks like a spring retainer clip for possibly a control panel. Is anything wobbling when opening and closing your machine door?

with pics i would suggest another item in the pic for scale. a penny, a ink pen or something. Your saying "clip" and i think something small, yet that to me appears to be a mounting braket. I cant be sure because i am not processing what the item is the clip is sitting on to scale.
