My screen hedges are detached. The screws sockets holding the the down and the top part of the laptop are broken. Can even open the laptop properly without the cover coming off.

If you were to modify the hinges, you might be able to drill through them, pass through the plastic underside, then make some sort of plate to reinforce the hinges at the bottom. If you decide to do it for the screen, you'll want to engineer it so it goes through the screen and out the back (top). But the thinner the bezel, the tougher time you'll have. You can completely detach the upper half and work on it that way, but most laptops use a cable or ribbon for the webcam (if equipped) and two antennas for the WiFi wires that lead to the card. The WiFi alternative is to use a USB dongle, but even that poses risks. Having it directly plugged in is ok, but if you repeatedly bump it, the motion could damage or break the USB port. The alternative is to get a short USB extension cord and have the dongle act like a pigtail.
