How to loosen a stuck power button that is jammed

It depends on what caused it to be stuck! Using distilled water wetting a Cotton Swab wiping the area and exercising the button is the first way if you got something sugary into it. If you just got hand cream or sunscreen give 90% isopropyl alcohol a try again wiping the button down.
The last try is using some WD40 A light machine oil which can seep in a bit. Again, using a Cotton swab that's not to wet as it would need much and you may need a few treatments. That should help if something oily or waxy is it will rehydrate the material allowing the button to be free. Do take the time once the button is released to wipe the sides down getting anything left off.
