I believe my Hamilton Beach 12 cup coffee maker 49465R needs a new hose, but where do I get one? The company doesn't sell them, eBay doesn't have any, ifixit doesn't have any. Looking for advice on how to DIY a hose. Is the tubing similar from one coffee maker to another...in other words, could I buy a tube from say DeLonghi and cut it to fit?

We don't know what kind of hose this is—can you show us a photo? Usually, only the inner diameter matters, and it needs to be resistant to hot water; silicone is the most common material. The brand doesn't matter.

Hi, I'm sorry I only just now discovered that you had answered. I can't seem to attach an image to this reply. I think I have to "answer" my own question in order to do that....

A coffee maker leaking clear water from the bottom is usually caused by a cracked water reservoir, loose internal hose, worn seal, or faulty valve. Inspect for visible cracks and check the internal tubing and gaskets for leaks.

Thank you. I've checked those components and one of the hoses appears to be the culprit.

The hose in question is seen on the right. Both clamps on that hose are also quite rusted. Sorry the image quality isn't better.
