A P0847 DTC means that there could be a Transmission Control Module (TCM) failure, that the transmission fluid level is low, there's a transmission fluid pressure sensor failure or a wiring issue.
What is the year of the vehicle and what type of auto transmission does it have, standard type auto transmission or CVT?
