3DS old, Start button not working (Select and Home working)

I opened up my 3DS to clean the L and R buttons.

When I closed it back up, the Start button stopped working later that day, but the Home and Select buttons are still working.

Hi!

Those are soldered on the board.

What did you use to clean the L and R buttons?? Sound like that something corroded on there (as it did stopped working later that day).

For now, I recommend to open it up and clean the whole board with isopropyl alcohol. Clean it all and test again.

Hopefully that will solve it for you!
