When mixing dough on speed 2, the motor head 'bucks' even when locks. Why?

It's likely one of the transmission gears has lost a tooth. You'll need to open it up to inspect the gears and order a replacement from Kitchen Aid

Is the dough to stiff or doing to much at a time? Are you using the correct attachment (Dough hook)?

I mainly use is for bread dough though it's not super stiff. I do use a dough hook.
