If the iPhone 17 shows that it’s charging but won’t boot, try a force restart first: press Volume Up, press Volume Down, then hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.
If it still won’t turn on, try a known-good cable/adapter and leave it charging for 30–60 minutes. If it keeps showing charging but never boots, there could be a battery, charging, or board issue.
