Hello -

I didn't see any guides tackling this particular issue: My on/off switch is not working. I'm ready to change carriers, and I need to turn my phone on/off a lot during jailbreak/unlock.

When I apply pressure to it, it simply doesn't turn off. I'm thinking some lever is not making contact or something?

What is this system like and is it worth trying to fix it myself? or should I just get a new phone?
