hxjdij, you are correct. That is a capacitor and it sure looks like it got plenty of damage. Make sure that you properly identify what happened. It is absolutely possible that it was shorted out. Anyhow, it is reference designator C7530which is a 22UF 25V 20% capacitor in a D2 LF package. You may have to cross reference that by size. The one next to it, is reference designator C7532 which is a 1uF 25V 10% capacitor in a 0603 package. Both parts are available at place like Mouser.com or Digikey.com as well as maymany others.
