I had the same problem. I'm not sure which unit you have but mine is the Audiophile, the upgraded version with an amp and bass booster hidden in the passenger side back panel. I took the unit to this electronic fix it guy, he said it would cost me at least $250, I laughed and said see you later. He said the motor was frozen up so I accepted that. I went to ebay and found one exactly like mine for $125 so I bought it. I installed it and it's like new. My point is most likely you won't find anyone who can fix this problem unless you want to pay that much which to me it isn't worth it. Please remember this is about my Audiophile unit not the stock one. Hope this gives some insight.
