You will likely just have to go slowly and use what is available. I would remove the mobo with this guide [guide|31667] then loosen hinge screws and slowly lift out screen. Since your screen is busted you shouldn't have to worry too much about snagging the screen cables on disassembly. Take note of how you removed the screen and now that you know how it goes out, carefully put in the new screen.
If your screen isn't the full assembly you may have to loosen some hidden screws on the screen assembly pry open the top of the laptop to reveal the LCD panel to replace.
