Listen to the power supply (right next to your ear!).  Can you hear a screech each time the green LEDs on the ethernet ports blink on and off?  I tested mine with a multimeter and while it delivers 12V, it is not supplying the necessary power for the AEBS.  You can buy replacement power supplies on Amazon or eBay for very little dough.  Cheaper than buying a new WiFi router anyway.
