Seagate drive is not detected by MacBook?

-I have a Seagate backup plus portable 2TB drive and when I plug it into my MacBook via USB the light on the drive turns on but I can't see it on my MacBook,

I can even unplug it and my MacBook doesn't report back that I didn't remove it properly.
