@yumi , Yumi , Yes the SD card reader is replaceable, You should first check it and clean/blow off dust/etc. then clean contacts with a Qtip dampened with Isopropyl Alcohol, then reseat to make good connection and try. Also look for any damaged contacts that you may be able to straighten carefully with a tooth pic. Below I will post a link showing how to remove the SD card and a link to a replacement part if needed, which you can also do a search for to get better pricing perhaps. Good luck.
