I had one streak with a cracked screen and another which  wouldnt upgrade to froyo. So, I just opened up both using the instructions on ifixit.com  and exchanged the motherboards.

I now have one fully functional dell streak on froyo. The other one, I shall keep it as a spare battery charger!
