Was the replacement capacitor the same as the old one?
If it was, it sounds like you could have damaged something else, or something else was already damaged. You should try looking at everything else, especially the area you worked to see if anything is missing or damaged.

-If your talking about the 3pin chip. Thats what it should be at U11, but if your talking about C37, please let me know. Im not sure which component your talking about.
+I looked around, and the 304 part should be where it is, but it isnt a capacitor, but rather a transistor or diode. Im not sure which, but it isnt a capacitor.

-OK. I looked around, and the part you have is labeled a 104. I checked and found this image. (dont worry, that is just an image link from iFixit)
