Just did a full display and mid frame replacement on an LG V20 with the entire backlight out  except for the upper right corner.  It did '''NOT''' solve the issue. Will run board through an ultrasonic cleaner, in case there was some minor water damage. I also noticed some very slight damage on lcd fpc socket on the motherboard. Will report back if I have any success.
