Why won't my speaker charge

I have a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 2 bluetooth speaker, I have purchased a new charger, battery and charging port and the speaker still will not charge. It powers on and flashes but that is all. The speaker worked for one day and the charging light did come on but after one use and a second attempt to charge it won’t do anything
