Laptop not powering on! Could it be the MagSafe dc-in board?

Hi all..
My MBP retina 13” Late 2012 model won’t turn on!!
When I plug in the charger, there is a red battery sign (Not the one indicating a plug asking me to charge. I get that when I disconnect the charger.), however, I don’t get any light, RED or GREEN on my charger.
I leave it on for hours and its still showing me the same thing. It is not charging or Powering on..
Is there anyone who has experienced this or who knows how I could go about fixing this?
