But here are the steps:
# Unplug the LCD cable from the motherboard first for removal. This is the one located right above RAM on the top right.
# Remove the bezel from the front of the display assembly. It should just pop off, but be careful not to damage any of the clips securing it or you wont be able to put it back on.
# Once the bezel is off, unscrew the screws securing in the LCD screen. Be careful not to touch the screen inverter as you could damage the display.
# Lay the screen down on the keyboard and unplug the LCD cable.
Now it’s completely loose from the laptop and you just have to improvise a little bit and get the old cable out.
