+The battery in my MacBook Pro A1425 was draining fast and had to be charged constantly, so I decided to buy a replacement.
I replaced the battery, it’s recognized by macOS, but it won’t run on battery power, and it says it’s not charging. It only runs with the power cord connected.
I tried to put the old battery back, but it now has the same problem, won’t run of the battery.
So now the new battery is back inside.
