If it has only been a few days since you got the laptop, you should return it if you can. If you can not return it then you will have to go through a few cycles of the Starting Repair, Diagnosing and then restarting until you get a screen that gives you options to try other repair options. Since you have had the laptop for a few days then the best option to take is Reset the OS and it should reinstall the OS and act like a new install.
 
 
 
You can enable a USB device boot from the BIOS menu.
