Hi,
I replaced the battery with the iFixit-kit and followed the instructions carefully. The inside of the MBP looked very good, no corrosion of damage whatsoever. I triple checked every connection, especially those of the battery connector board with the different screws. The interposer can only be placed in one way. Everything went smooth.
After connecting the power supply, the MBP started up immediately als usual and everything worked fine. The laptop however doesn’t recognise the battery. I reset the SMC a couple of times with no effect.
I can not imagine what is wrong. The battery connector board looks a little bit different compared with the old one but everything fits nicely in place.
Is there anyone that can help me?
