I have had my Toshiba Laptop for almost 4 years now. After a year, the battery stopped charging and I just opted to use the charger. At one point, I had replaced my charger because the previous one was no longer charging the computer.
Now whenever I try to turn on my laptop, it will boot up, but a few seconds later it turns off, and 2 blinking amber/orange lights appear at the bottom of my laptop. When those lights do not appear and my laptop starts up as normal, the entire screen is extremely dimmed even though my brightness is on high.
I was somehow able to fix both problems, but after 2 days the problems came back. When I turn on my laptop, the screen is dark and seconds later it turns off and the 2 blinking amber/orange lights appear. I've looked online for fixes for my specific problem but I was not able to find one. I tried some fixes for the dark screen but they wouldn't work.
Is there a proper fix for this or should I look into getting a new laptop? The only reason why I'm still looking for a fix is so that I would be able to back up my important data off the laptop before it stops working completely.
