Hopefully the following will help:

# Make sure the RAM sticks are seated properly.
# ✅ You have Lion 10.7.5 or later already installed
# Double check you have the latest EFI update which is version 2.1. If you don’t download it here:
# https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1480?locale=en_US
# After all the above ask for an exchange or refund for your RAM. Buy RAM from iFixit store or OWC and try again. You could just have gotten bad sticks. I know you only got one beep so it’s unlikely but not impossible. It actually happens more often than you would think. [br]
